Hi Magoo,
I have a boxed set Marklin 2690.
This is a limited edition with authentication card.
Consists of Digital HO gauge Federal post office class 260 diesel loco, 4 freight cars and a parcel post truck.
I have been given this to raise money for charity and wondered if you would be interested.
I know very little about model trains and came across your posting while searching on the net.
Please let me know if you or a club would be interested in buying this.
Reply on to this posting for more details.

Thanks, Bobl.

My hubby is now building his own Model Railway layout downstairs. ( 00 guage based on Ipswich Railway station in Suffolk) Are there shops over here that sell such bits and pieces? Buying from Ebay is doing his head in!
Yes, I talk to my plants........

Hi bussinspain,
I am sorry but I know little about model trains etc, as I said in my post I am just trying to sell this boxed set for the Reach Out Charity in Torrevieja.
I am sure there must be a retail outlet somewhere in the region that sells Train stuff.
No doubt one of the knowledgable forum members will come to the rescue...

I went to a model shop in Elche 12 month or so ago, can't remember anything more than the part of the street it was in.
It is in the zone called Altabix.
Had new and used railway, airfix, and RC stuff.
Use your google maps to locate this..... and go take a stroll.
You may get lucky.

I am building a 00 gauge railway representing Exeter St Davids and the Teign valley branch line. The track is complete and running. I have never found any model shops here aside from one in the Thader centre, Murcia. But that doesn't do rail stuff. Only boats/planes/cars and paints.
So I get most my stuff from Hattons.co.uk who are very good both on price and delivery. If he is going down the DCC road for control I have plenty of expertise and some spare kit. Having learn much through bitter and costly experience.

My condolences for your loss :(
If you are looking to get rid of them quickly then i'd suggest the buy and sell groups on facebook (Torrevieja buy and sell or Orihuela costa buy and sell would be your best option.)
