by Ruthsha » Wed Sep 06, 2017 7:27 am
Hi all . Hoping to come out yo quesada to live. Im a dog groomer partner plumber gas man etc.
Have heard that to start businesses up we would have to pay about €250 euro each no matter if we earn anything.
Is there a way around this?
Except try get employment? Which know will be hard.
Thankyou

I think there is still a scheme for new starters, subject to status, whereby you pay a reduced tax for 6 months.
Consult an expert, many adverts here and elsewhere.
Good luck.

Its not tax you have to pay every month, it is the Autónomo fees which also cover Social Security. Tax still comes in top of this, plus a bookkeeper to submit for you, as it is not easy to understand the systems here. There is a reduced amount for the first few months and thin it goes up progressively until it is almost 300€ pm, depending on the occupation.
There are also heavy penalties if you miss a payment. My daughter and her bf are in that predicament now, as they didn't make enough last month and had to pay for repairs in their vehicle as well.
They really don't make it easy to work legally.

And the adventure continues...
