Which ever one you visit, take care of your bag/purse. Desperate times for some and not very nice people everywhere all to happy to take advantage.

As said by others, La Mata can be seen from the N332, but you do have to keep turning left and travel all the way round Will's mums' to get to it.
San Miguel is off to the right of the main road, to the left of the ring road, if coming from Los Montesinos or Benijofar. Can be a bit pricey if you don't barter.
Guardamar market is not on the main road through the town (Avenida del Pais Valencia) as stated by another. It is on two streets which run parallel to it,
(Carrer Vincente Ramos and Carrer Santa Pere). I'd advise to park in the underground car park near the church and ayuntamiento and walk. This is the central point where you can see the market from Av del Pais Valencia, up beside the church.
I've never been to the market in Algorfa.
There is a huge market in Almoradi on Saturadays very worth a visit and if your Spanish is up to it, you will pay truly "Spanish" prices. Parking can be a problem, so go early. On the Saturday before Xmas, the stalls give free Cake and Brandy
Huge market in Benidorm Mon, Wed (?) Fri. Go by bus from the Arches for €10 return
Avoid markets in Torrevieja on Fridays, and Playa Flamenco on Saturdays, where they practice "rip-off the Brits" to the extreme
Just remember, barter whenever possible (particularly for clothing, shoes, or leather), and keep your hand on your money and your ha'penny

Sorry I would say it was the main road just as you gointo the town after thecturning down to the beach, they change it from time to time and sometimes it starts at the beginning of this street.

There are markets on most days, but our favorite are Rojales (Thursday ) which is a medium size market & Benijofar (Tuesday) this is a very small market. We have been to Almorida market which is very large & sells everything.

Thanks everyone we had a lovely morning at the Guardamar market and parked in the underground car park which was central to the market which was easy to find as it runs parallel to the main high street. Only small negative was that the parking was expensive but i suppose you are paying for the location.
