Just to let everyone know that the Mercadona bus also picks up in the high street, Calle Mimosas, Country club, Calle Elche, top of Quesada ( the last road on the left b4 the flats and finally at Canales supermarket. It runs as you say Jan every thursday but catholic countries have a lot on PH's on Thursday and then the bus runs on Wednesdays, same schedule. Mike

Guapa wrote:Heard Moncayo market has been closed down. Stall holders were phoned yesterday and told to remove anything they had there, and that it was a definative closing down, the market has no official licence.

Edited to add:

On their fb page Moncayo market have written "ATTENTION**********ATTENTION
Moncayo market is CLOSED this Saturday due to management changes. hopefully will reopen Saturday 22nd march. watch this space for details."

Thank you Guapa for this information. Please let us know if you hear anything about the re-opening.

Moncayo market Is open Next Saturday as usual. Todays closure was due to a management change and some reorganization resulting from this!
Traders with any queries should contact Procomobel Homecentre for information.
The new management and the traders apologize for any inconvenience caused to customers and hope to see you in the future.
thank you for your understanding. (Just copied this from their facebook page)

:text-goodpost: Thanks Sharon.

Seems like a bit of a mix-up by the market communication channels, as even some traders thought it was the end of the market!
:?

Anyway glad to see it's on again next Saturday.

Just wondering what the car booters will do, I know a lot of them do it to supplement their income. I know several who have a permanent pitch at Moncayo.

It's ok because the market will be on again from next Saturday, so all will be back to normal.
