La Mata Market (about 15 minutes by car from Quesada)

Every Wednesday

Typical Spanish food market with many other stalls and products.

Where is La Mata Market?

We are looking for a market to go to on a Wednesday, we usually go to San Miguel but fancy a change.

Is La Mata market worth a visit? Just wondering what size it is and if there are other goods stalls as well as fruit and veg.

Thanks.

I believe it's still in Calle la Lecha & Calle Emperadores at the moment although should be moving soon.
Still some complaints re new positions allocated to existing stall holders.
But will have to move soon due to fears that the road way, which is built over the acequion canal, isn't strong enough.
