In fact, if you want to find somewhere to have Christmas dinner (and there are quite a few that do it) you would be advised to book up, or get someone to book for you, now as they get very busy. We went out Christmas Eve and everywhere was buzzing although places started closing at 11 (some bars stayed open a bit later). We had Christmas dinner at home and went out Boxing Day. Loads of people around very early.

if your looking for a ghost town at Christmas, then welcome to La Marina. Apart from a few die hards most of the other residents disappear to Benidorm. Thank heavens for the spirit of Christmas. (normally sold in 1 ltr bottles)

If you want to do something really different put on a festive santa hat and pack a picnic and join thousands of others on the beach at La Zenia for a very different but great fun Christmas Day. If you look for it on line many people have posted their videos of the event. Great Fun! There is even a brass band playing Christmas carols. :D
