Cleared land behind Mariola Dona Pepa

Does anyone know why the area of land behind Mariola, Dona Pepa has been cleared/levelled off?
Is it general housekeeping or is something else happening?

Don't really know the area that well yet but we did notice three areas being cleared the one opposite Sofaland has the flagpoles and sales caravan in situ ready to go, close by the church it looks similar large plot there being cleared, also a third close by.
