It must have been just before 10 this morning.
Unfortunately I saw it and it was still in the middle of the road.
I stopped and moved it into the kerb.
I haven't had time to put a message here until now.
I think It's always difficult in these situations as to what to do if one finds a dead cat or dog.

If its a dog then hopefully they will have a collar with a number that can be phoned to let the owner know the bad news.
Unfortunately cats don't usually have a collar with any telephone number on, so I think it's best to leave it by the kerb so that at least if anybody is looking for it they will know what's happened.

Either way, it's never a nice thing to come across.
