Not sure how many people have been watching the hunt for the missing schoolgirl - but hundreds of people have been searching for her over the past week.

I've just heard that her body has been found - in her grandmother's house - and her grandmother's boyfriend has gone missing.

The police had sniffer dogs in the house at the beginning - probably since the boyfriend's story sounded dodgy - but nothing was found. Either there was a huge problem with the dogs, or else he had moved her back into the house.

What a tragedy.

Absolute tragedy! It's amazing that the boyfriend was allowed out on bail in such a short time after being taken into questioning, as there are powers to hold suspects longer...remember Soham!
If the boyfriend was allowed to come and go from the house, with enough time to bring back her body unnoticed, then that is inexcusable and I would be surprised if it was possible. It's almost unprecedented that a sniffer dog did not sniff out the body but it seems that's what may have happened. Was the house searched as thoroughly as it should have been before today's discovery? There will be lots of questions! It's so sad.

Can't believe the what has happened! Now they are saying that because there have been so many people in and out of the house that the forensic envidence will be tainted - I hope that doesn't mean that there is an escape route for the boyfriend! It does seem unreal that the boyfriend was allowed to slip through the net. I know that there will be an enquiry into the way that the police handled the situation, but it doesn't seem realistic that so many people were in the house and missed the odour of a decomposing body? Nothing will bring Tia bac, but I don't think that she should have been left alone in the house with him. He was a very dubious character, and had previously been the Tia's mother's boyfriend! End of rant!!
