Of course..Sorry to hear this. I know he had a lot of help and some of our forum members also did things to make his life more comfy, which was admirable!

Alex and Rex

Postby hobnob » Sat Jan 16, 2016 3:07 pm

Hi all....just found out that a well known Quesada character Alex has died. Alex was the chap who lived in the old motor home on the ground adjacent to the Quesada arches. He was always seen walking his faithful companion Rex around Quesada. My understanding is that he died yesterday after an illness and his funeral will be on Monday. He was a real character and would always offer to do some work if you offered him some charity. He is now with his God...RIP Alex. I am sorry but I do not have any information about his funeral...perhaps as the news spreads more info will become available. To those of you who like me will simply miss his presence amoungst us I am sorry to bring you this news.

It said on the post he will be cremated on Monday and Eric is taking care of Rex. There is a video on this post as well and also said his ashes are going back to Russia.

This is very sad news.

I live in the Calle where Alex had his motorhome and used to spend a few minutes chatting with him when I was walking my Westie.

It's a very sad year so far with people passing away.

I was just listing to David Bowies new album and read this post.

Adios Alex.

If anybody knows what happens to Rex please let us know. He will miss his mate.

Yes, read the news on FB yesterday via Kittens in Distress who did a lot for him. Luckily his doggie Rex is with a kind man name of Eric who I am sure will love him.
its going to be sad looking at his lovely little camp site and knowing that somewhere in heaven he will be creating a little garden. God Bless you on your journey Alex, you were a part of Quesada life. xxxxxx
