Building in Pueblo Bravo

Building in Pueblo Bravo

Postby Royb01 » Sun Feb 19, 2017 4:27 pm

Hi everyone,
Just returned from a weekend in PB, there is certainly evidence of building works on the site opposite the Budapest, the area either side of the building has been cleared and stocked with building materials, skips etc.
Suggestions such as an apart-hotel etc come to mind but people genuinely don't know, or sceptical or both? Seeing is believing!
I've attached a picture if it links ok.
Back in March, I'll update then.
Regards,
Roy

I was told its units for shops. Don't know why they would turn into units as opposite, half are empty. I was hoping for a small supermarket.

Yeah, I bought nearby nearly two years ago, the Euromarina guys at the time mentioned plans for a hotel, there's been no activity whatsoever since. Until now of course, let's see what materialises.........?

They are building something that looked like individual units.

Thanks for the replies so far, I'm not back over until the end of March so I'd really appreciate any updates from the forum in the meanwhile.
It will be interesting to see how things manifest. There's lots of empty commercial premises on the opposite side of the road so hopefully the new plans will include a supermarket or convenience store which the area desperately lacks at the moment.

I agree a well stocked supermarket would be very useful
A much needed boost to the developing area

Looking at your photos, they look exactly like the buildings that were put up in La Marina Urb a couple of years ago, some are now occupied by a fish and chip shop and a post office. I suspect that these will be likewise.

I was talking to the workmen last week, they are building an apartment /hotel.This will be a welcome boost to the area and hopefully mean empty unit across the road will be taken be others.

Hi bob, I too was told they were building an apart-hotel, as you say this could stimulate some investment and enterprise in the area.
There doesn't seem to be many hotels around which is interesting, not sure why save for the dominant property rental market?
