Cobbler

Cobbler

Postby Jordy » Sat Jan 14, 2017 2:47 pm

I have read on here several times that there is a shoe repairer 'somewhere' in Rojales.
Does anybody know exactly where? I keep getting sent to Guadamar by my OH but
Rojales is much more convenient if I can locate the shop. TIA.

:text-thankyouyellow:

I shall take a look on Monday morning. Thanks very much QL. Do you have Google Earth or Maps that you
could pull a street name or reference for me? Much appreciated if you can but if not, I'll have a walkabout.

:text-goodpost:Yes good sevice - made my wife's shoes like new for good price....
But, unusually for Spain, they ask you to pay in advance. (Guess they got lumbered with some shoes they'd repaired and not collected.)

Thanks for that. I was on the lookout for a cobbler in Rojales myself.

The cost of getting shoes repaired at home is often uneconomical.

Now all I want is a reasonable seamstress. Again the cost at home of getting a pair of jeans taken up is ludicrous. More than the jeans cost me in the States

I have used the cobblers shown for various things, but if you go across the river on the left is a bank, go another 2/3 shops further, on the left, is a shop run by an elderly Spanish lady who does repairs, hope this helps?
