Gas meter

Hi,
Has anyone had a gas meter installed lately? If so, how much was the cost please?

Hi if the gas main is within 4 meters of your property and the pipe run to the house is less than 15 meters it is free but some companies do try to charge for this so be aware, if the gas run is over 15 meters they charge around 15 euro per meter additional, also if you want the pipe buried underground there is an aditional cost unless you do the digging yourrself.

I believe that Gas Natural have currently stopped installing any more mains at this time so if you are outside of the 4 meters you may be unluky.
