House clearance

House clearance

Postby Heather&Steve » Tue Jan 16, 2018 11:35 am

We are new to Quesada and need to dispose of furniture left behind by previous owners. Pine table and 4 chairs, 1 sofa and a few side tables and a rattan shelf. They are all really old. Can we take them to tip by water park? Or is there anyone we can contact to collect them. I'm sure I have seen posts on this but can't seem to find them. Thanks for any advice.

The tip by the water park usually ask for a permit from Rojales Council. As the previous poster says, leave by the bins and they will disappear quickly.

Try Tony Firth Auctions. They will pick up and might give you a few euros.

Hi thanks for all your replies. We have rang someone, who says they will come today. If that fails we will try bins. Thank you xx

Yes, put it by the bins. Then the totters will pick over it and leave the stuff they don´t want. Lovely!!

I’m sure there’s plenty of options than dumping it by the bin making it a eye sore like uk

Most of the stuff left by the bins is so tatty that even the bin totters don't want it. and it is left there making the the place look like a tip.
Just ring the town hall anytime before Wednesday lunchtime , and they will come and collect it Thursday from outside your property.
Much better than seeing furniture left beside the bins for weeks!!!!
Happy in the sun.

:text-goodpost:

Phone 965 306 807 on Wednesdays & they will collect free the next day (Thursdays).

I have heard that they speak English too, so no need to worry about 'lost in translation'.

Always good to keep this number as it isn't fair of those who say 'just leave it by the bins' as none of us want rubbish or furniture etc left by our bin (sometimes it's there for weeks!). Often these bins are outside someone's property but if the council are informed and the stuff is put there as late as possible on Wednesday evening and then collected Thursday then it's OK.
