What is IKEA delivery service like?

Hiya, has anyone every bought from IKEA and used their delivery service. I may be buying large items ie wardrobes soon & other bulky furniture. Thanks

My wife and I are the Ikea equivalent to 'Trekkies', we have bought wardrobes, a 2&3 seater settee and have previously bought a complete kitchen. (These are just the items we needed delivered). We have bought many other items from them. All the items mentioned were bought at separate times so have used there delivery service 3 times now.
The last time delivery was the day after we bought the settee's! We have never had a problem, and the goods have always been excellent. As for peace of mind if you have an Ikea family card, you get 6 months to return the goods for your money back!
Delivery cost is based on price and area.

Hi Cathy , Im an IKEA retiree and have used the delivery service many times with no problems so you can be sure
of good service. Delivery has always been day after purchase. Hope this helps.

Has anyone used Ikea in Murcia recently to order a kitchen?
I am thinking of using Ikea in the UK to itemise the components that I need. Sending an order to Ikea in Murcia and then using their delivery service to have them delivered to the door in Quesada for the day we arrive. I would appreciate any information you might be able to provide to make this an easier process to use.
If not this then has anyone used the Van hire from hertz?

I have bought a kithcen from IKEA and got it delivered to my apartment. No problem and they came to my apartment at the clock they told they should. They also have people that do the intstallation. IKEA have 25 years warranty on their kithcens. That is a lot more than spanish companies give.

Ikeas delivery charge for this area is now 79e , i,m far cheaper ..!!

Also check that the items in the uk are available in spain ............!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did a job for a swedish family recently were it all went horribly wrong as the ranges here were somewhat different to sweden .!!!
