Hi Margo, I have a 3 bedroomed Julia on La Marina Urb, at the time of buying, my thoughts were on how easy would it be to look after as I get older. I get over a couple of times a year, and find it is a lot quieter than when we first moved out, I think this was largely down to the bank crash in 2008 and the fact that people were losing a fair bit of cash on the exchange rates, so decided to return to the UK. I looked around Quesada, Benijofar, Campoamoar etc but preferred the La Marina Urb. My property is just about 5 mins walk from Consum square, where there is a supermarket, opticians, various bars and restaurants, but also a short walk, 10 - 15 mins from the supermarkets and bars in the area of bankinter or up above the grey area. regarding the sale of properties on the urb, their doesn't seem to be a problem, as I've seen various owners come and go with very little problems, or without suffering huge losses on the sales. At the end of the day, it all depends on what you are after, and it would be advisable to ask about crime in the area you go to, I know from reading this forum there is a bit of crime reported on a regular basis, but if you put your security at the forefront, then no matter where you go you shouldn't have too much of a problem with it. Good luck with your search, and I'm sure you will know where to buy as soon as you see it.
