Just to give a bit of hope, our cat went missing for 2 years and we thought we would never see her, but one day about 500 yards from our house there she was a little worse for wear but back.
We took her to vet and they said a cat who goes missing (taken) will always try to get back no matter how far, they thought she had been walking months ...so hopefully yours will get back even sooner.

Thank you and it does give me hope. We're still hoping he'll find his way back to us.

Where i am from the north east of England,a friend of mine lost her cat then out of the blue she got a phone call saying her cat was found at Peterlee, a place about 30 mins drive and over major roads, from her home.the cat had his name and tel no on his collar, so dont give up hope.
