These times are surely now outdated. For years the dustmen came to our street at around 1.00am but now they are usually around between 12 noon and 1.00 pm.

In Torrevieja there are signs on bins saying dispose of waste between 2000 - 2200 hrs I believe and if you are caught you get a hefty fine. I heard the other day of somebody getting a very large fine but how true it is I do not know.

We've lived in Benimar for approx 5 years and we were not aware of specific times to dispose of your waste, I always make the trip to the bins at 6/7am. To be totally truthful I'll take the chance of a fine before I have my home stinking of rotting food and rubbish. This I would imagine would attract cockroaches which are almost impossible to get rid of once they establish themselves
Just do it

If you take them out at 6/7am, wouldn't they have been in your house all night?
We eat about 7 pm and take the rubbish out after that, about 8 pm or just after.
However, we all do what we want regardless of the rules (in this case I imagine bye-laws).
Any you have food hanging around stinking and rotting? Funnily enough, I use plastic bags for my rubbish. Never seem to attract cockroaches that way.

The waste going into the bins at whatever time is the least of our problems. Its the ones who leave all sorts of everything at the side of the bins that are even no use to the "collectors". Would love to see the town hall clamp down and start handing out fines left right and center. The sooner the better imo

There are times to put rubbish in the bins, however I have noticed the bin men now come round mid morning, even on Sunday. Even then they don't empty all the bins. It may help if people didn't chuck their rubbish next to the bin

there are 2 large rubbish bins locked away in school yard in Los Montesinos, so everyone leaves their rubbish next to the underground bins, lovely sight and smell.
