Recommendations for a travel agent that speaks English please. Looking to book a holiday for next year, looking on line but would like to speak to someone

Rosa Tours by the petrol station in town do holidays. There is also a travel agent right next door and they speak English.
Have a look at the El Corte Ingles travel online (use Google to translate). Or pop in to the store in Elche.
Depending on where and when you want to go, we often find it cheaper to use a UK one and then fly back to start the holiday from there. You have to add on the flights and possibly overnight hotel but a train journey from St Pancras to Paris, overnight train Paris to Lake Garda, 3 nights in Lake Garda then train to Venice, cruise to Dubrovnik, Turkey, 2 x Greek Islands and back to Venice, two nights in Venice then overnight train to Paris, two nights in Paris then Eurostar back to St Pancras, train to Gatwick, overnight at Gatwick Hilton and flight back to Alicante worked out nearly 400 euro cheaper than starting at Alicante and flying to Paris would have been.
(Of course, that was a couple of years ago when the pound was worth something).
Same with Caribbean cruises or cruise and stay. Cheaper to fly back to UK and start from there than Alicante to Madrid and start it from there.
Even a week's stay in Mallorca was cheaper from Gatwick than Alicante (although the flight from Alicante was only 24 euro one way and a 40 minute flight so we did it that way. Gatwick to Mallorca in the same hotel would have been 100 pound cheaper but the inconvenience swayed that one).

We always go back to Uk to go away on holiday as it is usually cheaper. You will probably have to go to Madrid to go on anywhere anyway.
Happy in the sun.

It's our 50th wedding anniversary next year and we are looking at somewhere to go.
I think we've decided on Las Vegas to blow the kids inheritance.

Lol, funny that’s one of the places on our list, but would do San Francisco, first for a few days, then drive down the coast to LA then to Vegas. Well that was the original plan now thinking Cambodia/Vietnam! Really must decide!

Try British Airways, they fly from Alicante, we just booked for Florida next April and no worries about cases when changing flights as they deal with all that. We managed to get a great deal for the fortnight including hotel and car hire.
As they fly all over America and are tied in with American Airlines its worth a try.
They also cover the world so you may find something you fancy doing.
