Water filter

Water filter

Postby Pipsyspup » Sat Apr 21, 2018 11:18 am

Hi, we have just moved into a property and there is a water filter system under the kitchen sink. I know nothing about these and don't know how to change filters, or even how much they cost. Help please!

I would imagine it depends on the system, our filters are 30 euros a year to change, worth every penny/cent/euro.

As Dr Doolittle.. 30 euros a year to change the filter... if yours is compatible they will just charge you for the changeover...

..They only do Quesada one day a week as they have to travel quite a way...

Just one word of caution regarding water filters. All the Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems, usually three Filters and a storage drum, waste considerable amounts of water- A reverse osmosis system wastes about 4 gallons of water per gallon made. If you use 3 gallons a day for drinking, cooking and internal consumption, that means you will waste about 12 gallons, making a reverse osmosis system about 25% effecient, this is not expensive with the inexpensive price of water in Spain, but it doesn't do a lot for the environment.
