Chinese restaurants

Postby shelzbelz » Tue Feb 09, 2016 9:11 am

Hi all,

What is the best chinese restaurant in or around Quesada?

I loved Chinese back in England whether it was a takeaway or a sit down meal but have found it really difficult to find one with similar food over here.

I've tried the one on the corner just before the arches but wasn't really impressed. Found the food was either really greasy or really salty.

Tried takeaway from the one by Consum in Dona Pepa food flavourless.

I have noticed En Fu on the main road across from mini golf has opened has anyone tried there?

Agree with danndy. Only had takeaways. I'm not that keen on the fried rice. But just chuck it in wok when I get home n add soy n Worcester sauce. But other than that it's spot on.

Nan Kin is a very popular chain. Extremely good value for money and the girls in there are very friendly and hard working. Try some of the sizzling dishes.
For more choice, but more expensive, the Banana Tree is excellent. Chinese, Thai and Korean dishes. Best to go with a group of about six to get an excellent variety.

Cost us €35 for 6 of us at Nan Kin. That's 3 courses and 3 bottles of wine. Good food and service.Same meal in the UK would be £90 without the wine. Mariatas kitchen, down by the La Marquesa golf course is still the best though, in my opinion. Enjoy...

Happy Garden at Dona Pepa and Maritau's Kitchen above Super Valu at the golf course are our two favourites.

As above but we marginally prefer Maritaus kitchen. We have tried most of the Chinese restaurants and these are the best two by far, in our opinion.
