Flamenco Dancing/Show

Postby jankw » Wed Feb 03, 2016 7:26 pm

Hi

Does anyone know of any Spanish bars that have traditional flamenco dancing? We love watching this type of dancing accompanied with spanish guitar and singer would be great!

Also, any details on spanish bars/restaurants that have good quality cheap dishes would be good

many thanks

We have had some recommendations on here for La Herradura in Los Montesinos for Flamenco nights, although I have not been there - Others may tell you more. I heard it's not cheap though and best to book in advance for a special Spanish night out.

For good quality, great value Spanish food:

Right in the centre of Quesada opposite the Town Hall is Goyos a good traditional friendly Spanish restaurant with good menu of the day/night.

Rincon in los montesinos another good traditional friendly Spanish restaurant with good menu of the day/night.

"Jaen's" in Guardamar with a good menu of the day/night.

All the above have been recommended on the forum.

We went to Herraduras a few weeks ago. Saturday night is recommended as they have a flamenco dancer and Spanish guitar music. You need to book. Setting is lovely and feels very Spanish and authentic. Food isn't brilliant and friends on our table were very cold . Quite expensive but entertainment worth it

la Herradura is very good we saw the guy that sings 'Nessun Dorma' acapella he's amazing. Sorry I can't remember his name, we also saw the Spanish dancers in the garden it was good.
We were there in mid summer but I imagine it could be very chilly this time of year.
I think it's reasonable for entertainment and food, I think it was about 20€ each.

Rosales on the Lemon tree road is excellent Spanish fare at very reasonable prices, including wine. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
