Great tapas

Postby Lyn59 » Sat Dec 19, 2015 10:06 pm

I would like to endorse a recommendation made by another forum member for a tapas bar in San Miguel de Salinas- La Cueva de la Tia Ramblera. It is situated on Calle La Cenia and is a little tricky to find, but the food is amazing. My partner is veggie but the food is prepared as ordered and they were more than happy to accommodate us. It was yummy. Bill for three was €37. And it is actually in a cave!

Just to confirm this comment. We were there last Sunday and went for all the tapas on the blackboard. We were 4 and paid 68 €, drinks, coffees and icecream included. The cave is looking very nice with modern figure paintings on the wall. We found the place immediately, it's in a pedestrial zone. The most dificult is to find a parking space... 8-) 8-)

Hmmmm! If you have a satnav it will recognise Calle La Cenia, but it is a wee side street so not really accessible. Easier to find is the Plaza Pozo de Enmodia. Stand on it with your back to the road and you will see a small sign for the bar on the other side of the plaza. As Saluki says there is very little space for parking, so it is a case of finding somewhere, dumping the car and then walking. Worth it though!
