New Restaurant

Postby marcliff » Sun Apr 16, 2017 12:11 am

Not really a recommendation but a new restaurant (ish).
At the end of the block where the tobacco shop is, which was the Bistro and before that an American diner and before that --------and so on as it appears that, even in my just 6 years here, it has changed hands at least that many times.
A Chinese restaurant called, I think, the Chef Zhan (or something like that as they were just painting the sign).
No menus listed (as yet) but I'll take a photo if they put one up.
Seems as if these places change hands on a very regular basis.

This has changed hands a lot - Let's hope it does a better trade this time.

This happens often in Sweden with some restaurants. They change owner, name and refurbish the hole place mostly every year.
This is to avoid paying taxes. So, before declaring taxes, they sell to a friend or relative and the use the tax money to refurbish the "new" place :)
Maybe the same thing happens in Spain?
