Paella recommendations in or near quesada

Postby Redr0bb0 » Sun Apr 17, 2016 11:47 am

Recommendations would be appreciated.

It is our wedding anniversary on Tuesday an my Mrs loves a good paella.

We have had good bad and indifferent paellas over the years ranging from horrendous factory produced microwaved grey splodge in Santa Pola to the most amazing one on Barcelona some years ago.

We would be looking for any recommendations please around Quesada or a short taxi ride (such as El Raso or Benijofar). Anyone had a good one in nice surrounding fit for a 36th anniversary?

Thanks

Happy Anniversary! We recently had a beautiful Paella in a Restaurant on the Prom in Guardamar. Restaurant Radero. It is the best fish restaurant I have been too in a long time. Seafood Paella to serve two persons was €18. It was delicious. Our daughter had fresh Tuna also delicious, to start we had a mixed seafood platter, which included excellent squid, calamari, and little fishes. Lovely Restaurant recently decorated, friendly staff, excellent service. Jugs of excellent wine Red, White, Rose, €6 a litre, €3 half litre. Can't wait to return. Radero is at the end of the Prom going towards the indoor leisure Centre.
Hope you have a wonderful evening. Congratulations!

Hi Aneto Benimar do a great paella they will do any type you want you would need to book and pre order it is made fresh but they will probably be busy as Jose West is onTuseday, good entertainment and not to loud cosidering it's a small place. Link to directions below.

If you want to see reviews look on Tripadvisor also quite a few on TQ.

Manolos restaurant on the "lemon tree" road to Guardamar do home made Paella to order, to eat in or to take home. I ordered a huge one which hardly fitted in the boot of my car for a party at my house. Absolutely superb and served everyone plus lots to freeze. Couldn't have asked for a better paella.
