Hello, well so far I'm not impressed with the service - the reason being on several occasions I emailed and NO response, then I called in and was informed that the 'boss' was away, so it seems no one can read emails in is absence. I left my request and full details 2-days ago and still NO response - this is for a booking for 50 people for Christmas - so it seems that they must be either overrun with bookings or just not interested. I will not contact them again.

Hi,
I am very surprised about this as they always seem good with communication when I have contacted them in the past.

They also have a Facebook page and you could try messaging them on this (click 'Message' top right on the page) : https://www.facebook.com/pages/La-Manza ... 5246679735

It could be worth one more try as it wouldn't seem in the interest of any new bar to intentionally ignore possible future bookings.

We ate at La Manzana last night. We had tapas and the mussels in white wine. The lady chef made us three types of tapas which we had never tried before. There was no tapas menu but her choice was exceptional and all three were tasty and we will be back again soon. The service was exceptional and we felt very welcome there. We will be recommending this restaurant to everyone.

Dear Willemite,
I've came across your massage just now, I can imagine is too late!
But I'm terribly sorry you've got the wrong impression about our place. To be honest I didn't get any e-mails from you at my pillepopa account.
I'm sure we are facing huge misunderstanding....

I would love to invite you to our La Manzana Bar for a bottle of Asturian cider and some nice tapas, it will be complimentary of course!
Please let me know when you plan to come so I will inform our team!
I'm really sorry about this situation and looking forward to welcome you at our friendly place!
My warmest regards,
Anna

:D I spent a lovely evening there recently, one of many, dancing till the early hours (a spur of the moment thing) but was great to see the owners dancing along with us. Great beer, great food and very friendly owners. I know the owners personally and they are the nicest folk you'll find anywhere. They worked almost round the clock to get this place off the ground and deserve to succeed, give it a go.
