Recommendation for the Indian Ocean Restaurant (2012 - 2015)

Postby Jan » Sat Apr 07, 2012 2:34 pm

My son and his friends always enjoy the Indian Ocean Restaurant, down near the hotel (next to Rizzo's). They have a reasonable day & evening set menu at the moment . Here's the board outside - If you can't read it, click on it to enlarge the picture:

The Indian Ocean in Dona Pepa, near the Laguna Hotel, still has the set lunch & evening menu at the same good value prices as last year - See leaflet below:

Superb!, Excellent food, comfortable surroundings, prompt, polite and courteous service - Mohsin and his staff ensure that this is more than a 'meal', it is an 'experience'!

Have just been to the Indian ocean, near hotel la laguna,, been in Quesada for 10 yrs.' and have finally gone here after passing it for a long time, what a lovely surprise, excellent food, it is the first time I have been given food on a hot plate without asking! had just the menu del dia,7.95 each,, first out came the poppadums with four fantastic dips then the main we have one rice and one nan bread, and share, two chicken dishes a glass of wine, was more than happy, excellent happy waiters, perfect service, we will be going again.

Agreed Scouse!! This restaurant is always on our list of must visits when we're over. Never had a bad meal there. Great service as well.

We tried out this restaurant when we were staying at the hotel one evening. Despite getting there fairly late they were very accomodating and the food was fantastic. We have tried out the Spice Hut and found it very nice too but the Indian Ocean is where we will be returning to next time we fancy popping out for an Indian meal.
