Restaurants good for children's meals

Postby tracylou23 » Wed Feb 15, 2017 12:18 pm

Hi there,
I'm looking to see if someone could recommend some nice restaurants in Quesada that has a good children's menu. My 3 year old is diabetic so he can't eat food such as chips, nuggets, pizza etc. He needs food like meat, veg and potatoes. Does anyone know anywhere that has 'good food' not fast food? We would like to have a 3 course meal and a nice atmosphere. Going to be going mid week too.

Hi
I think you would be better going in a decent traditional Spanish restaurant as they usually serve up nice meat dishes like stews and casseroles which may suit your son.
Spanish restaurants will often have chips on the menu but all in all I've found they have good honest home cooked meals.
Most are good value but not always 'posh'for want of a better word, so you may need recommendations for higher end Spanish restaurants if that's what you want.

Hopefully you will get some recommendations on here.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately he can't eat things like stews unless I make them myself as I don't know what's in it therefore don't know how many carbs are in the meal. It's really awkward because I have to count his carbs and measure his portions so things like mash, sausages and peas for example is easy to work out by eye. Plus I like a more upmarket restaurant if I'm honest. Thank you for your help though.

You could take a look at our restaurant list and see if anything looks like it may suit and then look at their website if they have one - I have lots of favourites' but my favourite upmarket(ish) restraurant is La Perla, on the golf course but I don't believe it's big enough for entertainment or that it does childrens meals, although you could ask - It's on the list:

I saw that one! The food looks lovely on trip advisor. I couldn't find a menu for it though. Food looks exactly what my son can eat even if I have to get an adults meal and just change the portion.

Found this menu from Da Silvas on their Facebook page - Posted May 2016 - It may give you an idea (click to enlarge):
