Vista Lounge Bar, Quesada

Postby Lavender » Thu Jun 30, 2016 8:35 am

Went to the bar for the first time on Tuesday and it was absolutely brilliant. I ordered a club sandwich, one of my favourite snacks, and I have to say it was the best I've ever had. The cafe bar is beautiful and something which was very much needed in Quesada. Having lived in the area for many years, it was a refreshing change to sit in such lovely surroundings instead of "on the side of the road". It was also nice to see a Spanish girl employed in a British bar which is a rarity around here, all credit to them. I thoroughly recommend it and will definitely make it my regular from now on.

A friend was telling me about this place, I can't wait to try it.

Where is it exactly from the Main Street?

As an aside, when I check out Quesada bars and restaurants on Facebook they seem to assume that everyone knows where they are. It would be really helpful if they gave directions from a well known landmark as I'm useless and end up never finding them.

Click on the Restaurants link in the orange band at the top of this page and most of the restaurants with directions are on there. We will put the Vista Lounge Bar, Quesada on there soon when we find out where it is.

I can´t seem to manage to go when these wonderful staff are on..

First time I went the music was too loud and it was all rap music, not my taste at all, nor was it in keeping with the bar...

Just been again today... a beautiful day it was too

We went up in the lift, sat outside under a lovely white umbrella, and waited to be served... and waited and waited.. we looked around, there was one other couple... we waited some more, nothing!

We gave up and went down and into DÁrtagnan across the road. A young man was there as soon as we sat down, great service and a friendly smile..

As each time we go it is not good, it seems I am a jinx at the Vista Lounge bar, so for all your sakes, we won´t go again..

:D

We also visited the vista lounge a couple of weeks ago. Had a very upsetting experience by 2 British people who had their dogs with them , not on leads. I didn't see the little dog and it came up behind me as I went to sit down, just touched/ licked my leg and I got a fright. The couple then started shouting things at me like ' FFS it's only a dog' . I said that not everyone likes dogs and perhaps it should be with them and on a lead. We then ordered a drink. They continued to call out stupid and disgusting statements and the staff did nothing. We finished our drinks and left. I did go back next day and speak to the new owners and they said that this is not the kind of clientele they want , so I hope they pick up on it quicker next time as it wasn't a very nice experience for us.

Now back in Spain on holiday I went for breakfast on Tuesday morning, then back in the evening for cocktails. Food is excellent, staff friendly and the cocktails were gorgeous. Since opening it has become a firm favourite of ours for a near-daily morning coffee and evening drink. Hoping it's also open tonight as planning to go after our evening meal :D
