When is breakfast time at TJ's Benimar?

Postby Chalkie » Sun May 10, 2015 9:32 am

I'm in the UK so can't ring them to ask or I would. Can some kind member advise me of the breakfast times at TJ's? Do they only serve them till 11am, for example? I was thinking breakfast there then Rojales market on a Thursday. What exactly do you get for only 3€ that includes a tea or coffee? Intrigued.

Hi Charlie we have just arrived back in uk.
We went to TJ,S twice
Sunday at 10.30
Friday at 11.15
We only asked what time they serve breakfast until.
They serve till 3p.m. for breakfast if u want it!
For 3 Euro we had 1 slice of bacon,1 sausage, 1 egg
1 hash brown, beans, toms, and slice of toast, all served on large oval plate,
Also included is cup of tea or cup of coffee (coffee is like cappuccino)
We can't believe how they do it for that price!
It's called the Regular breakfast.
The larger one is two of everything apparently also black pudding. Forgot the price though
We were full not needing anything else till teatime! So we will stick yo the regular.
Oh , and they have free WIFI , if you need it,hope this helps have a great time
When you go over.
Excellent and will.go back when over in July

Breakfast at TJ's Benimar

Postby Chalkie » Thu May 21, 2015 3:07 pm

We went to Rojales market followed by a late breakfast around 1:30pm at TJ's today. It was very good, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing was all the outside Toldo roofs were closed over us, it really would've been good to let sunshine in over some areas. There was a cool breeze wafting past us at times. My wife did comment it would be good if the roof was open slightly but short of push it further she left it there. Shame as the bar next door had decking where people were sitting in wonderful sunshine.

Anyway, thanks to this forum we had a very good breakfast & the waitress was very friendly & accommodating. It did take quite a while though but worth waiting for. Quality bacon & sausage unlike some bars charging lots more. We asked if the tomatoes were fresh or from a tin (we prefer fresh), we were told they were tinned but we could have fresh if we preferred. We asked for our coffees after the food, not a problem & we asked for toast without butter (but butter separate as we like to do that ourselves), again no problem.

The menu says 'all day breakfast' but it's not, we were told they serve them till around 3pm. The large breakfast is double everything plus mushrooms & black pudding for 5€. We will DEFINITELY return for breakfasts.

My wife had her iPad so she took these photos.
