I've only been to Route 66 once, and found the food to be plentiful, but nothing special. Also - one of the chefs must have had a break for 20 minutes or so while we were there, and stood just outside the entrance doors "chatting" extremely loudly to one of his mates who'd just turned up. Unfortunately the lad "banter" then just turned into every other word beginning with F, which made us feel pretty uncomfortable as we had a young child with us.

May just have been an off day!

found the service in route66 and yellow rose, not very good and the food average in both, but if its big portions you want you will be okay,Anetos Spanish next door but 2 to 66 is very good and fairly priced and good staff,

Always had perfect service and great food at Route 66 and love the place.
Cannot say the same for YRT. Never can get through on the phone, never seems to be open when have gone there , but when we did actually manage to make a booking the staff are rude and miserable . The food is good ( but limited to steak, ribs, Frajitas or chicken wings)
Happy in the sun.

The yellow rose is open 41 weeks a year, maybe you phone or come in "expecting" a table when there are none available for anyone who expects a table at the specific time that they want it...I.e. 19.00,19.30 or 20.00 hours!!! Unfortunately, others booked before you.I presume it is standard to wish their food to be cooked to order(not from a freezer) persé.
Longest standing restaurant in benimar,18 years, same head chef/owner and every seat taken twice a night. You can please some of the people most of the time, but not,all the people all of the time.
