Recommendations for pool maintenance

Postby Sylvc » Fri Jun 08, 2018 5:39 pm

Hi
We have now found a property in El Raso which we are in the process of purchasing.
As we will not be living here permanently yet we need a company to maintain our pool for us and would be grateful for any recommendations.
We are also going to need a cover made for the pool so again would appreciate any recommendations.
I am finding this forum very helpful so thank you for replies to my previous queries.

There are probably lots of reliable companies around, but I have had personal experience of
http://www.paradisepoolsandgardens.net/
and they were very good. I think they charge around €70/month for a weekly visit.

PoolProffs...based in El Raso, and much cheaper than the quoted figure above, I'd guess.

They advertise on this site.

Having recently bought a new house with pool and needing both the things Sylvc requires I did some homework. The monthly cost (1 visit a week in winter October to May and twice a week June to September) varied between 55 and 70€ per month and can depend on the size of your pool. I have an 8x4m and pay 65€. the company i use also leave a signed log of when the pool has been cleaned. i am sure there are people who do it cheaper but I needed piece of mind that I was using a reputable company who had been around for a while. They also provided the pool cover. These can vary considerably depending on the material used. I have a pool heater so went for the top of the range which was 1200€ although I could have had a basic one for around 900€, this included all measuring installation and wheel wind. see details of the company below

We used Simply Pools for our pool cover. Like Rosslev21 we have a heater and went for the Top of the range. We paid about the same too. Couldn’t be happier with it.
