we have a glass fronted gas fire which we used to use all the time in the winter but started to use the air

Con instead. As far as I remember,I could not get it it ignite once the pilot light was on..it just cut out. If you can help,please contact me as soon as possible as I find the evenings to be very cool and would dearly like to be able to use our fire.

Sound like an ignition problem, so a new ignition may fix it. We had the same problem - If it is that it shouldn't cost much to fix.

Sounds like the thermocuple have a word with Dave Farr in the recomendations Jan has put on.

We used Ambifuego in Los Montesinos, they speak English and are very helpful and they come out within a couple of days.

Hi Rosemary, sorry I can’t help except to say that I’ve used Ambifuego too and I liked them. what I really wanted to say though is it’s not a good idea to publish your phone number. Just a safety thing, I’m not casting aspersions on anyone in the forum. It’s easy to edit your post to remove it. Hope you don’t mind me saying it? All the best.
