I read on here months ago that you can have your passport copied, authorised, reduced and laminated somewhere to credit card/licence size. I've searched for passport on here and got 40 pages but I'm only here another 2 weeks. Can anyone direct me where to go and how much? It's to save carrying your passport all the time.

Hi yes done mine myself but its ok for some places most shops that ask for it but not excepted by Police you have to take passport and docs to the station they will hen stamp it as verified and then you will be ok.

Just check out what. You need first.

Hi go to the post room Benijofar they will reduce it for you then take the unlaminated reduction to the town hall upstairs to get it stamped then go back to the post room and they laminate it, cost about five euros and we were told that sometimes they can charge you for stamping it but we were not charged! :) a bit of running around but worth it.

Do you need to take any other documentation to the town hall?

Had mine done at Quick Save above SuperValu - same way as scubydoo getting it stamped at town hall - but when I was stopped routinely by the police and asked for papers and showed it, they said it wasn't necessary as I had a Spanish driving licence which was better!
