BE VERY CAREFUL WHERE YOU DISCUSS YOUR MOVEMENTS AND DISCUSS YOUR PLANS AND ALWAYS

USE LEGAL TAXI COMPANIES AS PEOPLE ARE BEING TARGETED FOR BREAK INS IN QUESADA DONT

CONFIRM YOU ARE GOING TO EVENTS ON A OPEN FORUM AND TELLING EVERYBODY YOU WILL BE OUT.

THIS IS HAPPENING ON QUESADA NOW.

AFTER HAPPENING TO US THE POLICE COULD HAVE CHECKED TAXI COMPANY BUT WE DID NOT USE

A LEGAL ONE IT WAS JUST A FRIEND OF A FRIEND EVERYONE BE MORE VIGILANT AS INSURANCE

TAKES FOR EVER IN SPAIN AND YOU DONT GET IT ALL BACK.

Wise words and good advice Sue & John. I'm just sorry that they came on the back of you experiencing the upsetting situation of a break-in. :(

I will certainly follow your advice; many thanks for the warning.

can the police not check the friend of a friend out?.....if that's who you suspect.did you have bars and grills on the windows ,did they break thru those, if so its very worrying that they will go to that trouble.but I suppose its easier if they know your not in,

On Thursday at 1.30pm we had just arrived home just to change my shoes. My husband went into the downstairs cloakroom and I went upstairs to the bathroom, leaving my handbag on the dining room chair. We had left our main door open as we always do when we are in our property but closed the grill door with the mosquito screen. In that short time, I came downstairs and someone had entered our house and stolen my handbag from the chair. I lost my bag which is a Fat Face brown leather bag, my IPhone 6 mobile phone which is white with a blue case, my £500 glasses which are Versace in a white hard case with Versace printed on lid, they are purple with lighter colour arms and are prescription glasses, makeup bag which is a Kipling in a deep pink colour with odds and ends in. My bank cards and driving licence were in an Accessorise sparkly purse but the three bank cards have been found and handed into our Bank and can you believe they failed to take any details from the lady or where she found them which might have helped. IF ANYONE FINDS ANY OF THESE ITEMS DISCARDED PLEASE COULD YOU NOTIFY ME. MANY THANKS AND BE VIGILANT!!

So sorry to hear of your mishap, hope you manage to get sorted with your insurance. I've seen for some time now on Facebook posts - I've seen that if you post on Facebook where you are you could not be paid out from insurance too..... These opportunists don't have any shame, should be vigilant at all times.
