Not that much on Christmas Day for the Spanish. They do not celebrate at the same time. Christmas Eve is the main meal followed by midnight mass plus getting together and Christmas Day is for church. Presents are given on the 6th January (3 Kings) although some gifts are given on the 25th due to other influences.
Lots of people actually go to the beach (La Zenia beach is popular for a BBQ on Christmas Day).
There will be big processions on 6th January with a really good one being in Torrevieja where the 3 Kings arrive by boat and a large procession takes place with sweets being thrown to the children.
You will find Christmas as we know it does not really exist and is nowhere near the big commercialised festival it is in UK.
It is pleasant not to have the hype but can be a bit disconcerting for those who expect the big day to be the 25th for the kids.
The Belen (a big display depicting the Christmas scenes as shown in the bible) are on display and there is a really good one outside the main church in Torrevieja.

I suggest you go to Torrevieja Xmas Morning. Not too late as the Spanish Families and children will be out walking along the Seafront until about 2 ish. Restaurants and Bars will be open. Make sure you see the Belen by the Church. The best there is around.
My idea of Xmas Day without all the hype.
