RELIABLE TAX ADVISOR REQUIRED

Hello everyone, I wonder if you can help me.

I need to find a reliable tax advisor who understands the Spanish system but who also speaks good English.

My current advisor does not speak English and now my Spanish employer has told me that the Valencian authorities have instructed him to retain 120 Euro from my pay this month. We do not understand why. I am thinking that it is probably a fine but I have had no contact from anyone so we simply do not know.

My employer is going to provide me with the reference details of his letter and I then want to pass this to an advisor who can both investigate this for me and then assist me in transferring my tax affairs from the UK to Spain.

Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Hi Sam i use SGM Soliciters in Beniofar if you turn left at the Sabatell bank onto the main road in Beniofar they are about 300 yards up on the right hand side a white building. you may have to park in a back street though and walk round lovely lady called Esther works there speaks very good english she has done all my tax for me. hope this helps you.

We spoke to SGM Solicitors, very professional set-up and good English speakers; however, they were more expensive than the advisers we opted for: Abaco in Torrevieja. Our adviser is Begoña Gallego, she's Spanish but speaks good English: [email protected]. Probably worth getting an idea of costs from both companies.

SGM Abogados. Paying more and not going to Torrevieja is worth every penny for me!
