Thank you for all your help. I just want to say that I have had Spanish Tax Forms Ltd., complete my 210 form. They were very efficient, great communication and very a reasonable fee of £29.99. I have no hesitation in recommending them, I will us them again in the future. Thanks again :text-thankyouyellow:

Is that form only if you rent your property out?

No you still have to submit an annual Modelo 210 if you own property in Spain and are non-resident. You also have to submit them quarterly if you rent the property out.

We don’t rent out, but as TonTri correctly said whether you rent out or not you must submit the form and pay the calculated tax. Thanks again all for the info.

Hi Thanks for that info, had my property since May16 and not had any information about filling in that form or had any notification. Guess I should get in touch with my solicitor as I remember paying an extra fee so he would deal with annual taxes. Thank you again

Quizziecat, as you pay annual taxes a year in arrears you will owe tax from May to 31st Dec 2016 to be paid by the end of this year, so yes check with your solicitor that they are doing the form and taxes for you.

Thanks Toni Tri, I remember him saying that the previous owners would be responsible for something, maybe that was the suma for that year, but I have been billed for that now and a water bill, not what I use, but another suma type one. I have emailed him today re that form 210 as had not heard about it before, so hopefully will hear from him before we come out in a couple of weeks time. Appreciate your reply.

Is the tax very much, I guess it depends on your property, mine is a small 1 bed one.

I honestly dont know. As we rent ours out in the summer the tax is quite high, 19% of all rental income after costs are taken off. We havent yet had to submit an annual one as we only bought our apartment at the end of December.

Hopefully, one of the other non-residents on here will be able to answer you.
