Looking to start a new drama club in Quesada

Looking to start a new drama club in Quesada

Postby Tony&Angie » Wed Feb 25, 2015 12:43 pm

I along with a friend am looking to start a new drama club in the area. If you've ever had the desire to try your hand at amateur dramatics we would be very pleased to hear from you. You don't need any experience just enthusiasm, so if you would like to appear on stage or assist back stage, you would be most welcome. Our objective will be to perform well known plays, comedies and dramas with profits going to a local charity.

Also are you aware that there are several panto groups already in the area that do successful performances in aid of local charities. Obviously not general drama groups as panto only but you might want to avoid putting on productions in the panto season

I belong to U 3A and run a drama group in Quesada but we don't perform, just read out plays and a bit if improvisation and have fun. I think there are far too many amateur dramatic groups out there already. Been there done that in uk , now happy just to do it for fun without learning lines! Anyone want to join me? Only 5 euros a year to be a member and loads of other activities too.
