Moving to Quesada

Postby Fromhartlepool » Fri Jul 28, 2017 12:27 pm

Hello. First time poster. I am moving to Quesada back end of August after 10 years of holidays in the town. Now retired but still want to stay active, so could anyone please tell me the best place for walking football, tennis and table tennis. Also where is the best place for spanish lessons. Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Can't advise on the sports, but for Spanish lessons, I'd recommend Alan at Bar Catorce in Benijofar: [email protected]. He charges Eu 5.00 for a 1.5 hour lesson, which includes handouts for homework and topics of cultural interest. His lessons are held in an air-conditioned function room and are a lot of fun; he puts everyone at ease, so that you don't feel self-conscious. The lessons are structured in a way to teach you Spanish that you can start using straight away. He usually has a waiting list, so I'd suggest you email him before you get out here, so that he can let you know availability (please note that he's on holiday from 31st July to 12th August, so he may not respond straight away).

Good luck!

Kind regards,
Kim

There is a walking football club that meets at the park near the windmill in Rojales one evening in the week.
