Places to Visit?
Places to Visit?
by Jetsetter » Thu Apr 30, 2015 11:57 am
Good Morning all.
I am renting a private villa in Quesada for 10 days at the beginning of June.
I will be with my Parents aged 76 & 71 and my husband and we were wondering what are the best places to visit whilst we are there.
We have hired a car so getting around will be easy. I would be grateful if anyone could be so kind as to spend a moment or two advising us of the best places.
Also bars & restaurants which are the best places to go?
Many thanks in anticipation.

This is very difficult to advise without knowing what makes you tick. The beach at guardamar is lovely, the sunday market on the guardamar road is certainly a time filler, but mind it will be warm to walk around.the mud baths in the san pedro area or a walk along the promenade at the mar menor.
As far as food goes it is difficult to advise without knowing your food tastes, quesada high street has a multitude of international restaurants or a short drive to benimar also.As for shopping expeditions try the La Zenia boulevard.

above.
Welcome to the forum, as walnut says above there are a multitude of places and things to see and do and the suggestions are good.
Have a look around the forum - Most of the restaurants & bars around Quesada and nearby are on here. restaurants-in-quesada-maps-menus-photos-addresses-and-contact-details-f80/
If you fancy a break from driving, there are also some lovely coach trips to go on from Davids Coaches and Rosa Tours (see links below). Some will be better for your parents than others as they may not want full on/energetic trips but you will be able to see what may suit them:
David's Coaches coach trips 2015 (Dave's coaches)
Rosa Tours Coach trips 2015
Although the chance to sit relaxing in the (almost guaranteed) sunshine and to be able to dine and drink outside in the warm evenings, whether you stay home or go out is the best thing of all! I'm sure your parents will love it.

Ah thank you both for taking the time to respond. Yes i suppose there is a lot to choose from, I think we'll start with a few markets and see what crops up along the way.
Many thanks again, I am going to have a look around the site now.
Kind regards
Beverley
