Rojales Caves: Arts and crafts meeting 1 Feb 2015

The next event up at the caves in Rojales is February 1st

It's worth a visit if only to have a drink at the quirky cave bar....

Usually the first Sunday of the month they have a kind of Craft fair. Artists, handicrafts, music etc.. but you can potter about up there any day but the stalls won't usually be open. There are some lovely views over Rojales from the top of the caves. It's still an interesting place to visit and perhaps Carlos at the cave bar will be open... who knows, he makes it up as he goes...

There are still some people living in the caves, both at the Cuevas de Rodeo area and also in the locality in "normal" cave houses...

Worth a visit anytime ..

The easiest way is to come from the Water park in Quesada... go past the waterpark on your right heading to Rojales. About 500 meters go across a roundabout... take the next road right, up a hill... at the top, park in the big car park. Follow the school fence around and you will come to the caves..

OR... go through Benijofar towards Rojales.... pass the Center Salud on your left then there is Bar Casablanca on the right... turn just after the bar, (Calle Almoradi) signed Ciudad Quesada/Parque Aqatico. Follow the signs for about 300 meters until you see a sign Cuevas de Rodeo... them turn right there and up the hill as before...

'seasy..
