Have a good trip Glyn. Pack those snow boots, gloves, woolly hats & scarves or better still wear them to save luggage weight but make sure those sandwiches are squashed in your case LOL

I know, we're not expecting much sunshine here at Easter either although today was supposed to rain all day and until 4pm it was hot & sunny, not rained yet but cloudy now. We passed the L Black Bull and it says it's a cafe bar so be interested to hear what the food is like. Only joking about the snow, it is forecast for Scotland though.

Its quite nice in the Little Black Bull. We went in around 2.30 to book for tonight, there wasn't a soul in there and the lady who was there said there hadn't been anyone in all day and its very quiet in the evening too. I'll let you now. We had a good time in Guardamar this morning, there's so many people there now. Getting ready for the Easter festivities I imagine. Does anyone know what the big new building is around where the Gran Chino as was and Siglo's is?

Well we wasn't impressed with the Little Black Bull last night. There was only us in apart from several young kids drinking and smoking in the entrance to the bar. The food we had (Burrito's) was okay but not enough of it. We were both hungry when we came out. The menu stated Chef's special guacamole and sour creme but we were told the avacado's were out of season and they were out of sour creme. It was also In my opinion very expensive. 22 euro for the 2 meals, 2 pints and a white wine, we could have had a 3 course meal for that. We wont be going there again for a long time.

You should be ok for sunshine here Dot, from Sunday onwards going by the forecast on the Spanish TV channel. Today (Wed ) was sunshine all day & very warm until about 5pm when it clouded up, similar to yesterday - not bad at all!

Whatever it's like, it should be nicer than poor Scotland at the moment. My children tell me they are expecting snow in London too but luckily or unluckily ;) ,depending on how old we are or feel , it usually doesn't last long enough this time of year to make good snowmen in the South. Enjoy your trip.

Not a good one to put in the 'Recommended Bars & Restaurants' then Glyn eh? Let's hope the place improves with time.
