Best Internet provider to use Fire stick please?

Can anybody recommend the best internet provider to be able to use Amazon fire stick.

If you have cable in the area Skynet link if not tellecable are ok but not sure how many meg you need for the fire stick.

I use Ole I just upgraded to 6 mb's works very well also got my sky and everything on anothwr box as well as the fire stick, hope this helps. Pete.

Have a chat with Paul TV Techie on this forum. He gives good advice about everything technical and should be able to tell you what speed you can expect up the Aeroport Rd.

They advertise on this forum (see advert above) TV Technology and they also intall a 'stop-start' service and other Internet services.

It allows you to watch TV through the internet

Personally I think it is nothing but a device designed to suck money out of you from the Amazon services. Wi Fi sticks do not work as well as boxes (connected via cable or power line type adapters) as have small antennas and drop speed - so you need a good connection / speed and router nearby.

Unless you have a 'cracked' Amazon stick, then most of the content is paid for and the like of BBC player won't work in Spain without a VPN.

Better devices available elsewhere unlocked, more powerful with the right software to get you free content easily - rather than pay amazon.

You can use them also for Netflix, but as that is also available on everything else now, still no major benefit for this type of equipment. Works better in UK than Spain.

The best way to get UK TV is get a dish installed, one of payment no monthly payments ... I have a large dish and UK channels through this are fine rough cost €399........I also have Card Share system for BT Sports etc which cost almost €200 for box and installation and a further € 90 for years subscription constantly scrambles when sport is on would not recommend it ....
