LEMON GRASS

LEMON GRASS

Postby Tootandploot » Thu Jul 28, 2016 7:47 pm

Can anyone tell me where I can get some lemongrass to grow in pots please? Apparently it is quite easy, grows tall appreciates the high temperatures as is a mosquito repellent.

We grew it successfully in Perth, WA and as its a similar climate here it should be easy.
Never used it as an insecticide but in Asian meals where it's wonderful

Have tried crushing some leaves up and putting in a bowl where we sit but not sure if I used enough. But maybe if you put in a pot near where you sit and keep brush the leaves to release the smell it may work better
