Thanks for this. Emailed the same to friends in the area and had one query already! They seem to think January 6th is also a red day????

It also misses out 16th July Virgen del Carmen

Just read your article red letter days, As I am arriving tonight and will need some groceries tomorrow can anyone tell me where I can get them please X

Tomorrow (you posted Weds 12th - so assume you mean Thursday 13th) Shops will be open as normal.....
Friday 14th most shops will be closed, Torrevieja Carrefour is open however & I'm sure Gama's will be open Sunday hours

Consum in Dona Pepa sign outside says-Easter openings as follws:

April 13th Maundy Thursday. 9 to 21.30 (as normal times)

April 14th Good Friday 9 to 3pm

April 16th Easter Sunday 9 to 3pm

April 17th Easter Monday 9 to 3pm

Other days as normal times.
