New Quesada Boulevard

New Quesada Boulevard

We were last in Quesada in mid-December and saw the hoardings for the new shopping centre. I gather it is now finished but what shops etc are there?

We were there last August and there was half a dozen new shops open in the new precinct and a bar upstairs.

If you were there in mid-December, the whole of the Boulevard would have been open with the cafe (downstairs and upstairs), a furniture shop, a couple of clothes and shoe shops and so on as they have been open for quite some time.
They are, however, building a second one next to it which is not completed.
So, since December nothing else has been added.

Still none the wiser where this underground carpark is, we will have to drive around when we are over in March. Thanks though.

Right. You know where Petra Honig is? You turn up the street by there to where the tobacco/lottery/newsagent is. On the left is the Belgian bakery and a tapas bar. Directly past the tapas bar is the old entrance to the government buildings that used to be there. That is now the entrance to the underground car park and has a big, high blue sign with a big white P on it and an arrow pointing to the left. As you turn in, there are barriers where you take a ticket to enter the underground parking lot.
If you are standing by Petra Honig and have the Old Don Carlon on your left, continue walking up the hill of Avda Las Naciones and the pedestrian entrance to Quesada Boulevard is about 50 metres or so up on the right.
Honest, it's been open quite some time.
Now, if you continue past the boulevard, there is another big hole in the ground with concrete pilings and earth moving equipment. That is going to be an extension with more shops I believe.

Thanks Marcliff for your excellent explanation. April was our first time in Quesada and we only had a couple of days there, then a further week each in November and December looking for and buying a house so we are pretty much newbies to the area. However we are over in March for 23 days so will be able to explore the main area much more, especially if we can park in the underground car park, as we have never been past Petra Honig .
