Is that the new Lidl's? If so it's not actually by the arches but down the far end of the road on the right of the roundabout facing the arches.

I'm not being pedantic but only saying in case there's another supermarket I don't know about - I would also like to know whether the other Lidl near Consum is staying open too. Has anyone heard any more about that?

The current LIDL near Consum and the petrol station, is closing, and the staff are relocating to the new store, plus I imagine they will need additional personnel.

I'd heard that the old LIDL building was to become an Iceland

Yay, another one to stick on the rumour list along with Aldi and another Chino shop.
No-one yet come up with a Tesco yet?

The lady on the till at Lidl said after April for the new one and that was a couple of months ago.

About a year ago I met a lady at an art class. At the time she told me that her daughter who works for Iceland had been asked if she would consider moving to a new store in Quesada. I hadn't heard that from anyone else so I ignored it. Wouldn't it be great if they did move to the old Aldi!
