Beer

hi,

I'm setting up a bar in my garden for family and friends when they visit, I have everything except a beer cooler but I won't buy this until I can find where to buy kegs (barrels) of lager mahou or the likes are there any bar suppliers, cash and carry or the likes, or any local bar owners who will sell me a keg every six months or so?

There is a beer and wine cash and carry as you drive into Los Montesinos on the left hand side opposite Venture fleet, coming from Quesada, they used to do them.

The bodega that is on the left going into Los Montesinos has been closed. It is now in the industrial estate opposite. Think it's called Alvibe

A KEG OF BEER EVERY SIX MONTHS? would it not go off keeping it so long?thought they only lasted a good few days once opened.

Yep. Beer in a barrel in a constant chilled environment will last upto about 6 weeks at a push.
Non chilled or moderately chilled beer will last at best two weeks
