Hi, we install CCTV but you will be hard pushed to find anybody who would be willing to install in view of a swimming pool, be it private or public due to Spanish privacy laws. I certainly wouldn't.

In some situations it is legal putting cameras on private property even if they grab images from public spaces, provided it is essential for the surveillance, the captured images are not published in any way, there is no alternative way to do it and the camera system is an “offline” system, i.e. not connected to a remote alarm central by any means."

Thanks all for the info above, will look into further - the surveillance hard drive would be under secure lock and key - so no one would be reviewing & is an offline system, no internet viewing. Would only ever be looked at or accessed, if there was a break in reported.
